APPLYING FUZZY CLUSTERING METHOD IN THE PIPELINE SEGMENTATION PROCESS OF OIL &GAS PIPELINE RISK ASSESSMENT
Base on some problems in the pipeline segmentation process of oil & gas pipeline risk assessment, the basic principles and general steps of using Fuzzy Clustering Method (FCM) to segment pipeline dynamically have been described. Through one case of applying FCM to segment pipeline, indicate that applying FCM in the pipeline segmentation process is efficient and reasonable. Furthermore, the accuracy of pipeline risk assessment has been improved and the cost of pipeline risk management has been reduced too.
