THE APPLICATION OF MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEET IN THE SAFETY ASSESSMENT

Safety evaluation is a process of using safety system engineering principles and methods to identify and evaluate the risks of system and project. It involves the identification of harmful factors and the assessment of the degree of risk. This article describes the status of the safety assessment, material safety data sheets (MSDS) and the application of MSDS in the safety assessment. The applications of MSDS in safety assessment are summarized in association with detailed projects. From the safety assessment point of view, the advantages and disadvantages of M SDS are summarized and recommendations are also given for the improvements.
