ANALYSIS OF A GAS PIPELINE ACCIDENT CAUSED BY TYPICAL PIPE FLAW
Gas pipeline is the life blood line of national economy and social development.Due to gas pipeline with the characteristic feature of flammable and explosive,toxic and hannful,high pressure,continuous,and complicated.it will not only hinder gas pipeline safe and normal transportation and public gas sup ply,but also threaten public safety and living environment .For this reason.the safety of gas pipeline is one of the key issues during every period of construction,start-up and operation.especial in operation period.Pipe for gas pipeline always be chosen with high pressure sustainable,high steel grade and large diameter.The risk factors of gas pipeline accidents that caused by pipe mainly present as stress corrosion.corrosion perforatkm.pipe flaw .welding seam flaw.etc.Further more.the accidents that caused by pipe or welding seam flaw have an ample history in recent years.This paper deals with an analysis of a gas pipeline accident caused by typical pipe flaw.and will be giving some guiding significance to gas pipeline risk factors removing and pipeline HSE administration.
