STUDY ON THE EFFECT OF EQUALIZING CABLE BRIDGING TO PARALLEL PIPES BY NUMERICAL SIMULATION

摘要：

An assumed example of cathodic protection for Two parallel pipes has been modeled and calculated by BEASYCP software. The purpose is to study the effect ofequalizing cable bridging on cathodic protection of two parallel pipes.According to the results, the potential distribution along the pipes in case of equalizing cable bridging becomes uniform which eliminates the potential difference between them caused by different coating resistance and pipe diameter.So conclusion can be made that equalizing cable bridging force the same level of cathodic protection to the parallel pipes.
