TEMPERATURE DISTRIBUTION CALCULATION AND EFFECTS ON SAFE ANALYSIS FOR LNG TANK
The extensive demand for natural gas in modern communities has led to the construction ofLNG receiving terminals. LNG tank is the most important facility in a LNG terminal. As a cryogenic facility, safety and stabilization operation of LNG tank is extremely important. The temperature distribution of LNG tank and the effects of temperature distribution on the safety of tank operation were analyzed in these papers. The full containment LNG tank of one LNG receiving terminal was selected as the object, the temperature distribution calculation model was established, and the temperature distribution of the top, the wall and the bottom of the tank were calculated under various storage pressures, height of the liquid and environmental temperature by ANSYS. The effects of temperature distribution on LNG tanks safe operation were analyzed and protecting measurements were proposed.
