STUDY ON LEAK ACOUSTIC DETECTION METHOD FOR GAS PIPELINE BASED ON INDEPENDENT COMPONENT ANALYSIS

For the city gas pipelines usually lie in complex environment, leak acoustic signals of city gas pipeline are rather feeble and the actual detection signals frequently contain mechanical noise and electromagnetic noise, a teak acoustic detection method based on Independent Component Analysis (ICA) is presented. The detected leak acoustic signals with noise are decomposed of several independent components, setting the noise component to be zero according to some prior knowledge in time domain or frequency domain of the signals and reconstructing the signals, and using cross-correlation analysis method to locate leak point Simulations of gas pipeline leakage and field gas pipeline leak detection applications indicate that this method not only can efficiently eliminate noise but also make the denoised signals have a better correlation coefficient to improve the precision of gas pipeline leak location.
