EVALUATION ASSESSMENT OF ASEISMATIC CAPABILITY OF ELECTRICITY PANEL IN THE VALVE STATION BY USING 6DOF( DEGREE OF FREEDOM) SEISMIC SIMULATOR SYSTEM

The electrical panel tested in this study was unable to determine whether the capability of electricity lines would satisfy the a-seismatic design requirement in the interpretative approach, and as such, the testing approach was selected. There is no data on the earthquake wave in Korea and the earthquake wave used in this test was an artificially generated earthquake wave using the regional coefficient and risk coefficient. This is an artificial earthquake wave designed by presuming the diminution of 5%, regional coefficient at 0.12g and risk coefficient of 0.57 (in the case of the valve station of Korea Gas Corporation) on 100 years of re-generation period on the basis of UBC (1997). By using this standard earthquake wave, the earthquake for each acceleration scale of 50%, 75%, 100%, 200% and 300% are tested. And, for electricity facilities, the functional aspect is important along with the structural safety, where the electricity signal was investigated at the acceleration scale of each stage to determine the satisfaction of aseistnatic capability and the results showed thereof.
