STUDY ON THE KEY PROPERTY INDEX OF DRILL PIPE FOR SOUR OIL & GAS FIELD
This papa- proposed the key technical index system of drill pipe for critical sour environment based upon systematical theory analysis and experiments research in conjunction with current industrial ability. The impact toughness index system was established according to Leak before break principle considering geometry sizes, curvature effect and impact toughness loss in critical sour environment. Chemical control was required based upon statistical analysis of current industrial products. Microstructure features were required including grain size and banded feature according to macro and micro damage observation. Threshold stress of sulfide stress corrosion crack (SSCC) was achieved for different parts of drill pipe including tube, upset and tool joint according to consistent critical load principle.
