CORROSION MECHANISM RESEARCH OF TUBULAR GOODS IN HYPERCONCTRATED H2S/CO2 OIL/GAS FIELDS
H2S and CO2 are the most common and harmful corrosive mediums for tubular goods. The corrosion mechanism and protective technology of these two factors for tubular goods is an important research aspect in oil and gas industry. It will produce significant effect on the CO2 corrosion even if there is just small amount of H2S. According to the different partial pressure and proportion of the two gas, one gas can cause the tubular goods material corrosion primarily, the other gas just plays the influence role, interaction also exists in this coexistence system. There are two types of corrosion existing in tubular gpods in hyperconcentrated H2S/CO2 oil/ gas fields. One type is electrochemical corrosion, the other type is SSCC and HIC which occurs in H2S environment. In this paper, a comprehensive review of CO2 and H2S corrosion mechanism of tubular gpods was presented. The research progress and results of the interaction of H2S and CO2 was discussed in detail.
