DESIGN OF ELF COMMUNICATION SYSTEM FOR INTELLIGENT PLUG

As a new type of repairing equipment for oil and gas pipelines, Intelligent plug can remotely locate, plug and de-plug a plugging module from a ground control center. The design of its communication system is one of the key technologies. Taking ELF (extremely low frequency) as carrier and through designing a low frequency transceiver circuit and a signal processing circuit, a low frequency communication protocol is determined and an ELF communication system suitable for communication between pipeline inside and outside that breaks through the shielding of pipe is developed, and its effectiveness is proven by experiments, which laid a foundation for the remote operation of Intelligent plug.
