RESEARCH ON MAGNETIC MEMORY TESTING TECHNOLOGY OF OFFSHORE OIL TUBE
Onshore oil tube produces varying degrees defects, such as cracks.corrosive hole and stress concentration, during oil production. Defective oil tube in the wells may lead to leakage or rupture; this will bring artesian well a hugs economic loss. In order to detect the oil tube that cant continue to be used and avoid the accident of the oil tube in the well effectively, we use magnetic memory test method to analyze the oil tube defects and introduce the theory of magnetic memory testing techniques and testing equipments in this paper. It extracts parameters of the testing signal by the experiments. It achieves qualitative and quantitative analysis of defects of the oil tube according to the parameters and detecting curve. Field testing, with 1200 oil tubes (including 282 defective ones) detected in Bohai Oilfield, show that the magnetic memory testing technology can effectively detect defects and achieve the scientific assessment of the tube usage.
