Insert Weld Between Bakelite and Aluminum

Recently in electronic and car-making fields, materials of many products are choosing polymers instead of metals in order to make minitype parts and reduce the weight. So the welds between polymers and metals are so important. Currently, the ways weld for them are only limited as adhesive joint or the mechanical weld depended on screws where many problems are brought accordingly. In this paper, the direct-welding methods between polymers and metals are studied and the confirmed weld method based on compress-molding is viable and useful. And the relationship between welding conditions and welding strengths are studied.
