Morphology and Mechanical Property of PP and Crystalline Observation of PP/LCP by ECAP

摘要：

The ECAP method was applied into plastic processing. The morphology and mechanical property of PP and crystalline observation of PP/LCP during ECAP processing were researched. The FTIR and PLM showed that after ECAP processing, the molecular chain orientated in certain direction, leading to the spherocrystal deformation of PP. The tensile strength of PP was increased about 2.3 times at 35° after ECAP processing. Moreover, the deformation of PP crystal in PP/LCP composite was similar to pure PP.
