The Relationships Between The Strength and Interfacial Structure of Pom Under Ultrasonic Weld
In this study, a novel ultrasonic weld technique is proposed. Under welding the Polyoxymethylene (POM), the relationship between its welding strength and the interfacial structure is researched. The results show that the welding strength can attain to 80% of tensile strength. However, under the lower welding stress and welding time, the bugs such as air bubble or unwelded surface lead to the decrease of welding strength.
