The Study of Fluorene-based Polyimide Adhesives
Aromatic polyimides (Pis) possess excellent thermal, mechanical, electrical insulating properties, as well as radiation resistance, so they are widely used as electrical materials, advanced composites, high-temperature structural adhesives, etc. Polyimide adhesives could meet the desire of aviation, aerospace and microelectronic industries. When thermoplastic polyimide in fully imidized form is used as adhesive, it requires very high processing temperature and consolidation pressure to achieve wetting of the substrate surface.
