Research of Multi-mode Tracking based on Multi-DSP and FPGA

A single identification model can not guarantee the reliability of the real target recognition in theory .which makes the adaptability can not meet the needs of multitasking in the electro-optical imaging identification and tracking systemThere is the limitation that single-DSP + FPGA can only realize a relatively simple single-mode image-processing software. The paper combined with targets real-time detection and tracking needs and presented multi-mode image-processing software system in a multi-DSP + FPGA parallel image processor platform . In the implementation, resource and capability of a multiDSP and FPGA were taken advantage of and achieve a reasonable distribution of functional modules in a multi-mode image processing system. In order to better upgrades and maintenance, and reliable realtime interaction , DSP and FPGA subsystems were added USB, UART, PS/2 and VGA interfaces and so on.
