Level Control System of Double-hold Water Tank Based on Inverse System Method and PID
A control method, based on a combination of inverse system and PID controller, is proposed for the level control problem. The inverse system is derived based on the analysis and the establishment of double-hold water tanks model. The simulation of the pseudolinear system which is get through connecting the inverse system to the former of the model, the result shows that inverse system achieves the decoupling of the double-hold water tank system basically. In order to obtain a stable level, a PD regulator is designed based on the analysis the Bode diagram of the pseudolinear system. Simulation and experiment show that the method is more effective with no need of overshoot and shorter adjustment time than the traditional PID control method.
