The Application of Wavelet Transform In Analysis of OTDR Curve

摘要：

In the cable network in the automatic monitoring system, the OTDR modules main role is measure optical fibers performance and definite optical fiber fault point position. We act according the wavelet transforms superiority in the singular signal detection and signal filtering, has given the optical fiber breakdown monitor solution, which realized accurate examination and the localization of breakdown event under the strong noise. The experiments confirmed that the use of wavelet transform on OTDR curve analysis practical, feasible and high accuracy.
