Steel Database and Material Evaluation System for Oil Refining Devices

摘要：

In this paper, a database group under construction for oil refining devices steels has been introduced. It is consisted by crude oil properties database, corrosion medium and corrosion environment database, standard / specification database and steel database for petrochemical industry. Further more, based on API571, API581 and SH/T3096/3129 specification, models assist for material selection has been setup for oil refining devices. The database system is designed to provide lifetime material support to oil refining devices for their design, material acquisition, manufacture, operation, maintenance, failure diagnosis and residual life evaluation. Further development of this database will extend to covers all iron and steel materials applied in other petrochemical process such as oil extraction, storage and transportation, downstream products production and natural gas industry.
