The Application of Database Technology in the Foundry CAE Public Service Platform
CAE technology of foundry achieves the simulation process for casting solidification visualization, and it reflects accurately in the status of casting defects and distribution rule; Foundry CAE public service platform which can offer remote CAE technology service for small and medium enterprises of foundry by simple operation and lower the cost at the same time for the users, is built by computer networks. However, the data parameter in foundry field is numerous and jumbled, and therere also large amount of information exchange during the casting process, so the system overhead will be greatly increased when the platform server call the data and information of external system, that often results in the calculation slowly and even causes the system collapse. This paper proposes the scheme of introducing the database technology into service platform. It establishes a data layer for service platform system, which includes register user database and casting material database, and the system logical architecture of the foundry CAE public service platform is composed of four layers, which are presentation layer, logical layer, application layer and data layer. The result shows that: Users can access the relevant data and information to complete technology service by GUI interface and ADO.NET technology. This scheme can relieve the pressure of service platform by multi-user and multitask effectively, and greatly enhance computational efficiency.
