Studies on Rheological Behaviors and Curing Cycle of Benzoxazine Resin
Benzoxazine resin is a new ablative ring-opening polymerization phenolic polymer matrix for resin transfer moulding (RTM). In the present study, the rheological behavior and the curing cycle of benzoxazine resin were studied with viscosity and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) experiments. The modified dual-Arrhenius rheological model was established. The predicted viscosity values were in good agreement with the experimental results, and the processing inject windows of benzoxazine resin can be well determined based on the model. The optimized curing cycle was obtained through analysis of the dynamic DSC curves.
