A Scalable Architecture for Providing Pervasive and Cost-free Inter-tourist Communication in the our-period Based on MANET
As information is the life-blood of the travel industry,effective use of technology is fundamental to the tourism sector. E-commerce is growing in many tourism businesses,and the tourist spots can appear to be more attractive to the tourists if we can ensure e-tourism facilities in these areas. This study demonstrates a framework to support the e-tourism facilities on inter-tourist communication in the tour-period through Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) technology. In this approach, tourists as well as the courier,as participants, will be connected to the network with multi-hop protocol to transmit data among devices. Any visitor who is equipped with a dedicated mobile device will be actually part of the network when he/she enters the tourist resort and can get access to cost-free communication with other group members carrying the same on-board devices. Conclusion can be drawn that, the proposed framework is not only successful on the visitors for its capability of making their trips more enjoyable and relaxed,but also on the industrial side because it can serve as attractions to pending visitors for traveling.
