A Method for the Construction of User Interest Model Derived from the Peer Knowledge Map in P2P Network

The performance of P2P retrieval can be significantly improved by classifying the peers into different groups on the basis of users interests, and getting users interest exactly is the key to form the User Interest Groups. Different from the traditional methods for generating users interest through studying the users historical query behaviors,a novel method is put forward in this paper. The model of users interests is built derived from the local knowledge map on a P2P platform associated with Semantic Web by learning strategy, which involves two parts: the formation of peer knowledge map,as well as the extraction and representation of the users interests. For each peer,it would automatically learn the peer knowledge from the local resources and produce a relevant knowledge map,explicitly describing the structure of peer knowledge and the internal relationship. As a result,it is quite convenient to extract the users interests considering the accurate knowledge map.
