Model Conception for Manufacturing SMEs CI Service

Manufacuring industry in China has witnessed heightened mobility,international competition and greater environmental uncertainty in the recent years,thus making it extremely necessary for small- and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises (SMMEs) to have well-founded decisions made in real time. In this paper,a brief introduction on competitive intelligence (CI) is made,together with analyses on SMMEs intelligence needs. A model is then proposed based on vertical B2B E-commerce platform,in purpose of solving SMMEs CI service problems.
