Study Of The US-EU Hormone-Treated Beef Dispute

摘要：

The SPS Agreement and the WTO,working together as the WTO-SPS Framework,seek to prevent the arbitrary and unjustified use of sanitary measures as barriers to trade. The hormone-treated beef dispute between US and EU is a test case in the WTO-SPS Framework. Recognising the limited resolution achieved in this dispute settlement process,several lessons may be learned.
