Risk Pooling in a Coordinated Three-level Supply Chain Based on Buyback Contracts

摘要：

A Three-level supply chain can be coordinated by buyback contracts. By adjusting the parameters of the buyback contracts,the profit of the total supply chain can be properly allocated among the participants of the supply chain. However, maximizing the expected profit is not the sole target of participants,minimizing the risk is also a target the participants want to achieve. In this paper,the variance of the profit is used to measure the risk each participants shared in the supply chain. The relation between the risk and the parameters of the buyback contracts is illustrated by numerical examples.
