Research on the Three-dimensional Terrain Building Method Base on UAV Images
The high resolution unmanned aerial vehicle images can provide more shape, texture and surface information compare to the satellite images, and it has a unique advantage on three-dimensional terrain reconstruction. Many regions in westem China are highlands, most of the terrain is mountain, Because of the harsh natural environment, it is difficult to obtain topographic map by conventional mapping methods. How to adopt new technologies to improve the efficiency of obtain terrain data for three-dimensional terrain modeling has become a major problem. This paper presents a method of automatic matching discrete points to build and optimize triangulation irregular net, and modified by a small amount of human-computer interaction to generate digital elevation mode, and Threedimensional model was completed. The research results show that this method can improve efficiency. The construction of three-dimensional terrain has little difference between with the real terrain, and the results were satisfied.
