Zhuhai Maps Updating Design and Implementation

摘要：

As the national economy is developing fast, the map as a main carrier of expressing the geographic information, need to be updated and innovated continually both in contents and in the expression form. Based on the Zhuhai maps updating project an updating workflow is designed, map contents as well as the expression method is renewed, and relief shades are integrated. A CTP printing workflow is adopted to do the digital proofing, direct plate-making and large format printing. In the paper, the main technical problems are discussed, its of certain reference value in the map updating design area.
