Dynamic Modeling Method for the Scheduling Problem in Steelmaking-Continuous Casting with Disturbance of Product Quality
This paper presents a dynamic scheduling model for the steelmaking-continuous casting (SCC) with a consideration of quality disturbance. The constraints with dynamic variation of this model are described by formal language of Dynamic Constraint Satisfaction Problem (DCSP). To keep the solution consistency, the objective to minimize the difference in machine assignment, starting time and processing time between the new and the original schedules is proposed. The disturbances from the component and temperature of molten steel are analyzed on the aspects of the impact on scheduling, the disposal strategy, and the mapping to the DCSP model. The establishment of this model provides valuable instructions for developing an efficient dynamic scheduling algorithm.
