Dynamic Cluster-based Secure Routing for Object Tracking in Wireless Sensor Network
Target tracking is an important application of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). However, due to the restrained resource of the WSN, it is challenging in object tracking is to protect the security of tracking route. In this paper, we propose a novel protocol, a Dynamic Cluster-based Secure Routing (DCSR) for object tracking. DCSR not only provides energy efficiently collecting the history target moving path data stored at some local storage nodes but also protects the communication pate from attacks in the sensor network. The analysis result shows that our protocol can significantly reduce the message traffic transited in the networks as well as enhance the secure communication, which not only reduces energy consumption and prolongs the life time of the whole sensor network but also protects the message communication from various attacks.
