Evaluation of Logistics Operational Risk for Shipping Companies Based on Grade Coefficient Method
Logistics has become one of choices of a shipping company for sustainable development On the basis of systematically summarizing logistics operational risks of shipping enterprises, this paper assesses risk status of shipping enterprises when expanding into logistics businesses by using grade coefficient method. A case study is also made. This model not only provides a simple and practical method for a shipping company selecting logistics operational models, but also provides theoretic and scientific basis for the shipping company to take effective prevention measures against logistics risks.
