Combined DWT-DCT Digital Audio Watermarking
A robust audio digital watermarking algorithm is proposed. This algorithm watermarks a given digital audio using a combination of the Discrete Wavelet Transform(DWT) and the Discrete Cosine Transform(DCT).The multi-resolution of DWT and the de-correlation capability and energy aggregation of DCT are used. Performance evaluation results demonstrate that combining the two transforms can improve the performance of the watermarking algorithrus that are based solely on the DWT or DCT transform. Experimental results show that this proposed algorithm is imperceptible and robust against various signal processes and attacks such as noising adding, low-pass filtering, re-sampling, re-quantifying.
