A Study on English Listening Instructions - Based on Computer-assist Language Learning Environment

摘要：

Technological and pedagogical developments now allow us to better integrate computer technology into language learning process. However, computer-based and web-based multimedia tools have not been fully utilized in common universities in China. Based on computer-assist language learning environment (CALL), the author provides some practical English listening instructions, including creating authentic atmosphere, employing a variety of resources and learning styles, providing multimodal practice by means of in-class activities, conducting exploratory learning with large amounts of language data, and developing students interest by diverse presentations of information.
