The Design of DPA-Resistant LBDL Standard Cell Library
Differential Power Analysis (DPA) attack is one of the most effective side channel attack technology against the security chip. A novel dual-rail precharge logic, Look-up Table Based Differential Logic (LBDL), has been proposed to counteract this attack. This paper proposed the design and implementation of a LBDL standard cell library. Special single ended LEF view and timing model of standard cells are provided to support the LBDL based parallel routing method and static timing analysis. Experimental results show that compared with the traditional CMOS logic, the LBDL cells have almost perfect power constancy, and the Normalized Energy Deviation (NED) and Normalized Current Deviation (NCD) are decreased by a factor of 18 and a factor of 59 respectively.
