Realization of Partial Precoding for LTE-Advanced Cooperative Transmission

To realize precoding transmission not only at the source terminals but also at the relay nodes for the uplink of the cooperative transmission system, the partial channel precoding based on zero-forcing algorithm was realized. As the norm of precoding vector casts large shadow on the received SNR, a proposed scheme based on maximum received signal to noise ratio aims to clear the hurdles of low power efficiency of zero-forcing precoding. Link level simulation showed that the performance of cooperative transmission system can be improved effectively by precodcrs combined with space time code not only on the source but also on the relay nodes. Whats more, the received SNR can be improved for zero-forcing precoding without increment of transmitting power by performing precoding on users with good-conditioned channels.
