Multi-objective Model and Heuristic Algorithm for Integrated Inventory Matching Problem in Modern Steel Enterprises
This paper concentrates on the integrated inventory matching problem (IIMP) in modern steel enterprises in which the three main product types, slab, hot-rolled coil and cold-rolled coil, are taken into account. A multi-objective model is formulated to maximize the total weight of matched products and to minimize the total cost involved. A heuristic algorithm is proposed on the basis of the analysis on the problem. The experimental results show the model and algorithm are effective.
