Semantic Business Information Classification Model First step to information security
Information Security has become an integral part of many business organizations now-a-days and they follow many standards or models for establishing, maintaining and monitoring information security. But they mostly misinterprets information security with IT security. While imposing information security more attention is paid to discrete technological solutions. Most importantly they lack behind to secure the most critical information just because of classifying it. This paper ascertains a model for classifying business information as this is the first step for whole organizations information security. A new semantic approach is used which is very simple but realistic to implement This business information classification coalesce business, business model, business goals, people, process, technology and security.
