Visible Watermarking Algorithms for Embedding Gray Scale and Color Watermarks
the escalating interest with reference to digital watermarking all over the preceding decade is positively due to the amplification in the prerequisites of copyright security of the digital content. This is also augmented due to profitable prospective. Watermarking is an adolescent and swiftly developing ground in the area of multimedia. Watermarking embeds data in the digital media for the purpose of identification, annotation and copyright. Visible watermarking is an area of digital watermarking used for copyright protection. This paper explores the idea of visible watermarking in devising two novel algorithms for embedding visible watermarks in digital media. The paper primarily presents the speculation of digital watermarking in concise and its elucidation to the application in visible video watermarking. The first offered algorithm embeds a gray scale visible watermark. The novelty of the second proposed algorithm is that a colored watermark is embedded in the colored image or video. The evaluated results are offered and the quality is tested using the evaluation metrics.
