Analysis and Attenuation on Commutation Torque Ripple of Contra Rotating BLDCM
Torque ripple seriously affects the performance of contra rotating BLDCM widely used in underwater vehicle. The Fuzzy-PI control based on current hysteresis controller was proposed to diminish torque ripple and overcome the shortcomings of conlra rotating BLDCM system. The model of BLDCM control system with Fuzzy-PI control was established and simulated. Compared with PI controller results, the torque ripple reduced from 220% to 35% at a maximum. The comparison of experimental results verify the effectiveness of the Fuzzy-PI controller which can reduce the amplitude of torque ripple.
