Use of RAC and Active Data Guard in Oracle llg
With the continuous expansion of enterprises, companies need to store and provide more and more data. A large number of concurrent operation by large number of users access to in a short time has been difficult to solve. In this paper,two strategies to resolve the problem are presented. One is to use Active Data Guard, which is a new feature in ORACLE 1lg, in this way most cases encounlered can he dealt well, the other is use RAC and Active Data Guard together, which can be used when very large number of users to access the database. Also the structure of each strategy are also presented. In actual situation, the two strategies are proved to be very effective.
