Fast Reading of Stereo-Image Library Based on Oracle Spatial
This paper puts forwards an approach to fast query image in the Oracle database. The managements of spatial messages and aerial images are in the Oracle Spatial. The quick reading of images is based on Oracle Call Interface, Firstly, we designed a key field in the relationship tables to query a pair of images. Secondly, we built a spatial index based on spatial extent of images, of which the GeoReference had been established. Finally, we used the Mechanism of Multithread to extract the left and right images. We realize the function of Eagle-eye for the global map. The experiment results show that the approach is efficient in the search speed and real-lime display. At the end of the paper, the author advanced con tent-based image retrieval in Stereo-image Library.
