The Collaborative-Design Broadcast Encryption on Heterogeneous Sensor Networks
Taking into account that the area of security for Heterogeneous Sensor Networks (HSNs) is still an open research field that requires new cryptographic solutions, a new broadcast encryption scheme based on collaborative design is presented by introducing master key of design teams and distributing the public and secret parameters reasonably. The new scheme is based on broadcast encryption theory and the theory of certificateless, every designer can encrypt design documents and transmit them expediently while the encrypted document can be decrypted only by the members of the designated design team. The private key escrow problem of ID-based public key system is solved synchronously. Analysis shows that it is secure under the discrete logarithm assumption for HSNs which provides affordable public key cryptography without requiring hard -ware acceleration, so the broadcast encryption is not only possible on sensor nodes but also is an attractive security solution in this application space.
