Broadcast Encryption Scheme Based on 3-Dimensional Orthogonal Vectors

Broadcast encryption scheme enable a broadcaster to broadcast encrypted message to a large set of receivers in a way that only legal receivers can decrypt them. This paper proposes a new broadcast encryption scheme based on the properties of cross product of orthogonal vectors in 3-dimensional Euclidean space. In the proposed scheme, for each secure broadcast, the broadcaster can be the center or one of the users. The storage and performance analysis shows that the scheme requires less storage in the center and at the user, and has relatively small key size and relatively less computational complexity. Lastly we also give the security analysis of the presented scheme.
