Application of Fuzzy Theory on the Excavation Engineering Feasibility Study

According to the existing norms and standards, it has set up an evaluation system from four aspects(safety management, theory of design, construction skills and project costs)in order to in-depth study the feasibility of the excavation engineering. It has provided a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model and several methods used for determining the weight coefficient and membership degree of each factor. Applying the model to an excavation engineering of an office building which in Shenzhen City, and according to the result of the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, the weakness of the feasibility evaluation factors are found, thus it can provide the evidence for safety management and optional the design of the excavation engineering.
