Optimization of Robust PID Controllers of Coordinated Control System Based on Genetic Algorithm
It is proposed a parameter optimization method for a genetic algorithm based multivariable robust PID controller with respect to the boiler-turbine control system of a thermal power plant. By using set point tracking performance as optimization goal and robustness as constraint punishment condition, genetic algorithm can be used to optimize parameters of controllers. It shows from simulation that controllers designed by this paper have better load set point tracking performance compared with PID controllers obtained by reduction of robust H∞ controller and also have good robustness.
