An Architecture of Power Quality Monitoring System
Nowadays, electricity is no longer a luxury article like it was few decades ago, but it has became a necessity and a part of our daily life. Without power, factories do not work and the world will become dark. Even short interruptions and voltage sags can directly influence the society production. However, the natures of electrical load have become more complex, which result in a deviation of voltage and current form its sinusoidal system. In order to supply normal voltage to electrical devices, these should be an efficient way to real time monitor the process of power so that the power supplement could work well, which is usually called Power Quality. The power quality monitoring system is the system that has core software to gather raw data and to convert the raw data to useful data, which will be used to monitor whether the power device work well or not In this paper, we present a power quality monitoring system based on B/S architecture. That is, the user can monitor the whole power device real-time any location and anytime if he can connect to the Internet.
