Study on the Emission Model of Light-duty Vehicles based on On-board Testing

at present the vehicle emission is the main resource of urban air pollution. The proper modeling of microscopic vehicle emission plays an important role in the accurate analysis and control of urban automobiles. In this paper, light duty vehicle selected as research object, the model of microscopic emission based on velocity and acceleration using BP neural network and bivariate regression analysis separately. The result shows that the two models are helpful to forecast and analyze the actual emission of vehicles on road. The model based on BP neural network is more suitable for the analysis of actual emission. The research in this paper can help propose the quantitative analysis and control strategy of urban emission.
