Online Fault Detection and Diagnosis of Bogie Using Vibration Acceleration Signals

A detection on-line and fault diagnosis method is put forwarded based on the vibration acceleration of bogie. Firstly, the train with non-fault bogie is running on the non-fault railway at different speed level, and the eigenvector of vibration acceleration of bogie at each speed level is distilled. If the eigenvector data at the same speed level is reached to the definite value, we can use these eigenvectors to establish a fault diagnosis criterion of bogie on the specifically railway and at different speed level, which is applied to the detection on-line and fault diagnosis of bogie. Secondly, according to the analysis on the trend of historical data, the state of bogie is predicted to and ensure the safety problem. Practical examples show that the fault diagnosis criterion established through self study embodies the information of the railway and bogie perse.
