Research on Micro-Aerobic Granular Sludge in the Process of Cultivation
Due to more kinds of micro-organisms who finish degradation togetber in the micro-aerobic granular sludge system than that in the aerobic granular sludge system or anaerobic granular sludge system, the degradation characteristic of micro-organisms in the aerobic granular sludge system is different from that in the aerobic granular sludge system or anaerobic granular sludge system , therefore, this article studies the characteristic of microorganisms. The main instrument includes: IC reactor, lOL backflow water tanK the self-made medical infusion control valve In the cultivation process of micro-aerobic granular sludge. at the beginning of the experiment the concentration of inflow water keeps the COD influent concentration in the end of cultivation of anaerobic granular sludge: 3418mg/L stably , the volume load of reactor : 33.4kgCOD/ (m3-d), HRT :7h, the main flow velocity of water : 2L/h, back-flow influent velocity : 0.6L / h, the concentration of dissolved oxygen in refluent tank : 0.3 ~ 0.5mg/L .Because reactor at the prophase of the trial was instable, the pH of inflow water maintained properly high in order to prevent acidification, wben anaerobic granular sludge was not with reduction and particle size accompanied by particles of conduct the effluent pH value has stabilized and upward trended and the effluent pH value was greater than the influent pH after 37 days, pH of influent is controlled 6.5above. Then, according to the COD removal rate, the reducing of HRT takes 0.5h space; when the COD removal ratio is stable, the improving velocity of back-flow water takes 0.2L/h space and HRT keeps 7b. During the experimentation, the water temperature was relatively stable; When the influent organic load upgraded 385.7 g COD l d eventually after 8 times improvement, the experimentation is accomplished, at the same time , the HRT reached 5h ,the refluent flux was 1.4L/h and removal rate of COD was 84.7%.During the experimentation, it is found that the water content is higher and the density is lower in the micro-aerobic granular sludge than in the anaerobic granular sludge, moreover, it is also found that the anaerobic granular sludge disintegrated seriously in the test, particle size showed a narrowing trend and a large number of fragments fell and suspended in reactor. The sedimentation of these fragments was poor and are discharged from the reactor in a short time easily. With the reduction of the sedimentation time, the sludge that sedimentation property was bad was washed out.As a result, the SS concentration of out-flow water fluctuated largely throughout the experimentation
