Multi-Scale Characteristic and Oscillation Analysis of Precipitation and Evaporation Series in Yuyang

According to precipitation and evaporation time series in Yuyang region, this paper adopts Morlet wavelet analysis method, analyzes time series configuration in detail, and discusses multi-scale variations and mutation of precipitation and evaporation. The result shows that, precipitation and evaporation series exist multiscale characteristic, the main period is 16y and 15y, secondary period is 3y, 7y, and 9y. Penod changes complicatedly, large scale comprises small scale; oscijlation point of a= 16y and a=15y delays 3-4y compared with a=9y; precipitation oscillation point delays ly compared with evaporation; in deferent time scale oscillation point is deferent comparison with evaporation, precipitation oscillation point appearance in the Late 1980s and 1990s, evaporation time series oscillation point appearance in Mid 1980s and Mid and Late 1990s.
